Kowen is a lifelong resident of DeKalb County, graduated from DeKalb High School in 2017, and holds a degree in Human Service. Her commitment to the DeKalb community blossomed during her four-year tenure at the YMCA of DeKalb County. With a deep appreciation for small businesses, Kowen was influence by her family’s ownership and operation of Tom’s Donuts of Auburn for 17 years. She thrives in roles that facilitate pubic interaction, driven by her profound passion for connecting with others.
