Dr. Burris has led Lakewood Park Christian School in Auburn, Indiana since August 2018. He has directed extensive campus enhancements for athletics, arts, and academics, resulting in LPCS receiving accolades such as Best Private School, Best Principal, and Best Teacher in the 2022-23 Fort Wayne’s Readers’ Choice awards. Dr. Burris holds an undergraduate degree from Liberty University and Master's and Doctorate degrees from the University of Central Florida. He serves as an accreditation commissioner for the Association of Christian Schools International and is on the Board of Directors for the National Institute for Learning Development. Dr. Burris enjoys traveling with students and his family, exploring destinations ranging from Arizona’s canyons to Europe’s historic sites. Dr. Burris and his wife, also an educator, reside in Auburn with their four daughters.
