Melissa Irk is Vice President, Operations at Tempus Technologies, Inc. She collaborates with senior-level management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans. In Operations, she maximizes efficiency and productivity through extensive process analysis and interdepartmental collaboration. Irk also coordinates with other Directors and staff to devise strategies to ensure growth of programs enterprise-wide, identifying and implementing process improvements that will maximize output and minimize costs. Collaborating and team building was a strong passion for Irk in her previous experience.

As a Business Operations Manager at Apollo Design Technology, Inc., Irk assisted in planning, coordinating, and controlling the daily operations through the organization’s managers, while working towards the company’s primary objectives, based on profit and return on capital. Irk also worked extensively in sales and marketing. Recently Irk completed the DeKalb LEADS program. This program equips participants to Lead, Engage, Activate, Develop, and Serve our community.

Melissa is active in her church with pre-school children ministry serving as a worship leader. With her husband, they raise their two children and can be found supporting them at one of many sports functions. Irk holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Huntington University.
