DeKalb Chamber Partnership Announces Hiring of New Executive Director, Tracy J. Bell

Auburn, IN — February 3, 2025 - The DeKalb Chamber Partnership is pleased to announce the appointment of Tracy J. Bell, CFRM as its new Executive Director. With an extensive background in nonprofit leadership, community engagement, and financial management, Bell brings a wealth of experience and passion to the organization.

Bell most recently served as the Executive Director of the DeKalb County Council on Aging, where she successfully managed a team of 22 employees, oversaw senior services, and coordinated countywide transportation programs. Her leadership in partnership development, program expansion, and community advocacy has made a significant impact in DeKalb County. Under her leadership, the Heimach Center was awarded the DeKalb Chamber Partnership Duesy Award for Nonprofit of the Year. Prior to that role, she held key positions at Children First Center, where she excelled in marketing, fundraising, and social work, further strengthening her commitment to community service.

We are confident that her leadership will take the Chamber to new heights.” Bell holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Care Management from Harrison College and has earned a Certificate in Fund Raising Management from the Lilly Family School of Philanthropy.

The Chamber invites the community to meet Bell at Chamber 101 on Tuesday, February 4th 5pm-7pm.During this event, board members and staff will discuss the many opportunities available through a Chamber membership

Christie Browning

Christie is a five-time HSPA award-winning writer with a long resume of creative, compelling writing. Her background includes journalism and marketing, which allows her to bring a specialized voice to the pieces created for her clients. On her own, Christie has written for newspapers, online magazines and major publications. For her clients, Christie produces web designs, press and media releases, blog articles, downloadable worksheets and flyers as well as social media content. Her long-time career as an entrepreneur gives her unique insight into what her clients need to promote their products, services and messages.
